Citizens of Iowa Girls State,

We are asking each citizen attending the 2026 session to help with this service project by bringing an item off the list to Girls State . The items will be used to put in hygiene packets for women veterans .

Below please find the breakdown of last name letters and items requested:

A-B-C   Disposable razors & shaving cream travel size

D-E-F   Women’s Body wash (any fragrance) or bar soap

G-H-I   Mouthwash (non-alcoholic)

J-K-L   Deodorant or Chapstick & comb

M-N-O   Women’s Shampoo 2-1- or shampoo & conditioner travel size

P-Q-R   Body or Hand Lotion- travel size

S-T-U   Toothbrush & toothpaste

V-W-X   Wet wipes

Y-Z    Hard Candy, individually wrapped

If you want to bring more than 1 item, you may choose another one from the list. This request in not mandatory, but we are positive that any items donated will be greatly appreciated by the women veterans and/or the presenter with her project.
